For over a decade, Raymond Yin has worked at Mouser Electronics as its resident Director of Technical Content. During his tenure, he has collaborated with many manufacturer brands, industry leaders and technology experts to develop the latest content on technology and applications. Managing and expanding Mouser's portfolio of content for new product introductions and technology trends, Raymond stays immersed in the electronic component industry and well-versed in the latest industry developments impacting Mouser's customers.

Earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Southern Methodist University in 1986, Raymond's 20 plus years in the electronics distribution industry, and 7 years as a design engineer, has given him a deep understanding of the capabilities of the latest components as well as the companies that produce them.

At the Department of Energy's Office of Electricity Delivery and Energy Reliability, Chris Irwin manages more than $1.5 billion in grid modernization projects. His experience spans top utilities to address the technology, integration, and business challenges essential for Smart Grid advancement.

Chris leads DOE's Smart Grid standards and interoperability efforts, collaborating with NIST, FERC, and other federal agencies in the Smart Grid Interoperability Panel and other forums. He founded DOE's participation in the Federal Government's Green Button Data Access Initiative, enhancing customer access to their own energy data. Additionally, Chris remains engaged in State and Federal regulatory developments and policy aspects of consumer-level issues.

Prior to joining the DOE, Chris served as Director of Products at Eka Systems, contributing to Marketing and Business Development. His role provided him with comprehensive market insights into the electric energy sector, natural gas, and water infrastructure. This experience, combined with his background in semiconductors and satellite communications, equips Chris with a unique and valuable perspective on the US energy business transformation.
