QPA1724D 17.3GHz to 21.2GHz GaN Power Amplifier

Qorvo QPA1724D 17.3GHz to 21.2GHz 20W GaN Power Amplifier implements Qorvo's production 0.15um GaN-on-SiC process (QGaN15). The high-power, packaged K-Band MMIC amplifier offers a 17.3GHz to 21.2GHz Satcom band, supplying 5W of linear power with third-order intermodulation distortion (IMD3) products of 22dBc. The QPA1724D delivers up to 20W of output power with 25dB of small-signal gain and 30% power-added efficiency. The integrated power detector supports system diagnostics and other requirements. The QPA1724D is fully matched to 50Ω with DC-grounded I/O ports for ideal ESD performance, simplifying system integration. The device has on-chip blocking capacitors connected to DC ground at the input and output ports. The GaN power amplifier supports military and commercial communications and radar applications. The QPA1724D is 100% DC and RF tested to guarantee compliance with electrical specifications.
