VEML High Accuracy Ambient Light Sensors

Vishay Semiconductors VEML High Accuracy Ambient Light Sensors feature an easy-to-use I²C interface and are housed in miniature transparent packages. These digital 16-bit resolution sensors include a high sensitivity photodiode, low-noise amplifier and a 16-bit A/D converter. The VEML have an operating voltage of 2.5-3.6V with an I²C BUS voltage range of 1.7-3.6V. These sensors include additional ambient light functions like an excellent temperature compensation and high dynamic detection resolution with software shutdown mode control.

VEML6046X00 Color Sensor

Vishay Semiconductors VEML6046X00 Color Sensor is an AEC-Q100-qualified surface-mount high-accuracy 16-bit, RGBIR color sensor with an I²C interface. This sensor includes high sensitive photodiodes, a low-noise amplifier, and a 16-bit A/D converter. The VEML6046X00 color sensor supports an easy-to-use I²C bus communication interface and additional interrupt features. This color sensor operates at a 2.5V to 3.6V supply voltage range. The VEML6046X00 color sensor is available in a miniature opaque 2.67mm x 2.45mm x 0.6mm (L x W x H) package dimensions. This color sensor is RoHS compliant and halogen-free. The VEML6046X00 sensor is ideal for RGBIR in automotive applications like display backlight controls, infotainment systems, rear view mirror dimming, lighting control systems, and color recognition.
