ADZS-BF707-BLIP2 Evaluation Board

Analog Devices ADZS-BF707-BLIP2 Evaluation Board demonstrates the features and capabilities of the ADSP-BF707 400MHz Blackfin® Embedded Processor. ADZS-BF707-BLIP2 is part of ADI's newly developed, low-power embedded computer vision platform targeting a wide array of real-time sensing applications. The Blackfin Low Power Imaging Platform (BLIP) integrates the ADSP-BF707 Blackfin processor and Analog Devices' software code libraries. The code libraries are optimized to detect the presence and behavior of humans or vehicles in indoor and outdoor environments. The BLIP hardware platform is delivered preloaded with the occupancy software module. The occupancy software module is MISRA-C compliant and includes C reference code for the primitives and wrapper code layers for OpenCV like APIs. Designers can use the BLIP to perform intelligent motion sensing, people counting, vehicle detection, and face detection deployable in both indoor and outdoor use cases. This advanced detection operation significantly improves performance compared to single pixel PIR sensor solutions. Complete with an intuitive configuration GUI, ADZS-BF707-BLIP2 can connect to a camera chip and provide real-time analysis of captured video, as well as video output/display using an on-board USB port.
