GDT25 Design Kit

Bourns GDT25 Design Kit provides design engineers with protection solutions for quick-turn prototype testing. The DK-GDT25-01 kit features a sampling of Bourns GDT25 2-Electrode Gas Discharge Tube Arrestors. The kit contains five pieces of each GDT25 model: GDT25-07-S1 - 5mm 75V, GDT25-09-S1 - 5mm 90V, GDT25-35-S1 - 5mm 350V, and GDT25-60-S1 - 5mm 600V. These latest generation GDTs offer significant improvements in protection from voltage transients caused by lightning or accidental contact with AC power lines. Typical applications for Bourns GDT25 Design Kit include set-top boxes, industrial communications, HVAC controls, xDSL, POTS, G.Fast, and antennas.

Circuit Protection Devices

Bourns manufactures and supplies a wide range of circuit protection technologies, including fuses, PTC thermistors, varistors, GDTs, resettable thermal cut-offs, surge protection devices, hybrid protectors, discrete semiconductor solutions, and more. Reliable surge protection is a critical design consideration to help ensure operational reliability of consumer electronics, industrial/communication equipment, automotive, battery charging, energy storage infrastructure, and renewable energy harvesting ecosystems.
