The coils are inductively coupled and the AC current in the transmit coil generates a magnetic field that induces a voltage in the receive coil. Würth Elektronik WE-WPCC Qi Wireless Power Charging Coils are wound with litz wire rather than bifilar and offer outstanding performance with low DCRs and high Q values. When used together, these transmit and receive coils achieve an efficiency of up to 93%.
