Analog Devices EV1HMC412BMS8G Evaluation Board uses RF circuit design techniques. This board is used to evaluate the HMC412BMS8GE passive double-balanced mixer operating at 8-16GHz. The EV1HMC412BMS8G board operates at 50Ω impedance. The board offers impedance when package ground leads and exposed pad are connected directly to the ground plane. The top and bottom ground planes are connected through sufficient via holes.
