KEMET AC Harmonic Filter Film Capacitors

KEMET AC Harmonic Filter Film Capacitors are self-healing, polypropylene metallized film capacitors that are placed on AC voltage lines to filter them. These capacitors offer high capacitance density, high peak current, and a long lifetime. Typical applications include inverter systems, motor drives, battery chargers, AC and harmonic filtering, clamping/damping systems, and power factor correction (PFC).

On three-phase AC power lines, KEMET AC Harmonic Filter Film Capacitors can be placed in a delta or wye configuration.
        •  Delta configuration: the capacitors are connected between the different phases.
        •  Star configuration: the capacitors are connected between each phase and a central point. The neutral point is sometimes connected to the ground or left as a floating neutral, depending on the system design.
