Amphenol Network Solutions Transceiver Plugs enable secure fiber cable management by offering a temporary parking place for fiber connections. Most transceiver ports are empty when installed at an integration facility, and when not all of the connectors have transceivers to plug into, excess slack fiber and cable ends have no place to go. However, when ANS transceiver plugs are inserted into the empty transceiver ports, it not only keeps the dust out but also provides a place for LC and MPO connectors to be stored until needed in the future. Because of this design, structured cabling can be routed and secured with proper bend radius and tie-offs, removing the risk of cable management challenges. Amphenol Network Solutions Transceiver Plugs are suitable for data centers with a high density of fiber cabling, structured cabling installations, and pre-configured racks.
