Analog Devices / Maxim Integrated MAX8614x Pulse Oximeter & Heart-Rate Sensor

Analog Devices MAX86140 and MAX86141 Optical Pulse Oximeter and Heart-Rate Sensor is an optical data acquisition system with three programmable high-current LED drivers that can be configured to drive up to six LEDs. The LED drivers can drive up to twelve LEDs with two MAX86140/1 devices working in master-slave mode. The MAX86140/1 has a low-noise signal conditioning analog front-end (AFE) on the receiver side. The sensor includes a 19-bit ADC, an industry-lead ambient light cancellation (ALC) circuit, and a picket fence detects and replace algorithm. The Analog Devices MAX86140 and MAX86141's low power consumption, compact size, and ambient light rejection capability make sit ideal for a wide variety of optical sensing applications like pulse oximetry and heart rate detection.
