Cree LED Broadcast Lighting LEDs address the Television Lighting Consistency Index (TLCI) needs in popular activities. With broadcast color options featuring TLCI + CRI 90 or 95 minimums at 5700K CCT, luminaire designers can now deliver the most natural daylight-like experience to indoor and nighttime events, whether viewed by spectators in the stands or the TV audience watching at home. TLCI was developed based on the realization that the response curves of an electronic camera's red, green, and blue video sensors are so different from the human eye's red, green, and blue cones that optimal illumination profiles for one may not be optimal for the other.
