Texas Instruments INA4235 16-bit Digital Current Monitor
Texas Instruments INA4235 16-bit Digital Current Monitor includes an I2C/SMBus-compatible interface that is compliant with digital bus voltage range from 1.2V to 5V. This quad-channel digital current monitor senses current on common-mode bus voltages that differ from –0.3V to 48V, independent of the supply voltage. The INA4235 monitor operates from a single 1.7V to 5.5V voltage supply and draws a 400μA typical supply current in normal operation. This digital current monitor can be placed in a low-power standby mode with a 2.5µA typical operating current. The device can be fully disabled using the enable pin to achieve a supply current of less than 50nA.The INA4235 digital current device monitors the voltage across an external sense resistor and reports values for shunt voltage, bus voltage, current, power, and energy for each channel. This monitor is ideal for retail automation, power management, rack servers, security cameras, and battery cell monitors.
