Texas Instruments MCT8314Z BLDC Motor Driver
Texas Instruments MCT8314Z Brushless DC (BLDC) Motor Driver provides a single-chip and code-free sensored trapezoidal commutation device for driving 12V to 24V BLDC motors. This motor driver integrates three 1/2-H bridges with 40V absolute maximum capability and a 575mΩ low RDS(ON) to enable high-power drive capability. The MCT8314Z motor driver implements sensor-based trapezoidal control in a fixed-function state machine and eliminates the need for the external microcontroller to spin the BLDC motor. The MCT8314Z three-phase motor driver includes protection functions to protect the motor, device, and system from fault events. This motor driver supports up to 100kHz Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) frequency and 1.8V, 3.3V and 5V logic inputs. The MCT8314Z motor driver operates within the 5V to 35V voltage range and -40°C to 125°C ambient temperature range. This motor driver is used in HVAC motors, small home appliances, office automation appliances, and robotics.
