April 23, 2024Mouser Electronics, Inc., the New Product Introduction (NPI) leader™ empowering innovation, will cheer for the DS PENSKE Formula E racing team as they return to take on the glamorous streets of Monaco for round 8 of the 2024 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship on April 27.

The 19-turn, 3.318 km track will see the all-electric cars once again climb the hill at Sainte Devote and travel through the iconic Place du Casino, Mirabeau, Grand Hotel Hairpin and Portier. The race is held on a narrow course laid out in the streets of Monte Carlo and La Condamine around the harbor of the Principality of Monaco, with many elevation changes and tight corners, making it one of the most demanding circuits in Formula E. The DS PENSKE Racing team has two past Formula E Champions driving its cars, 2022 World Champion Stoffel Vandoorne and the unique two-time Formula E Champion Jean-Éric Vergne, both of whom are intimately familiar with the track. Vandoorne won the Monaco E-Prix in 2022, with Vergne taking third. Vergne himself won the Monaco E-Prix in 2019.

Mouser is supporting the DS PENSKE team for the globe-trekking 2024 season in collaboration with TTI, Inc. and valued manufacturers Molex and KYOCERA AVX. Mouser and Molex have been partnering to sponsor Formula E racing since 2015.

The Formula E series features cars that are powered solely by electricity and represent a vision for the future of the motorsports industry, serving as a framework for research and development around zero-emission motoring. Using the very latest technology, the DS Performance Development Team has stretched the boundaries of efficiency and performance with the DS E-TENSE-FE23 powertrain and software. Racing is all about speed and endurance, and racing sponsorships are an innovative way for Mouser to communicate its performance-driven business model and promote the newest technologies from its manufacturer partners.
