Renesas Electronics EK-RA4C1 Evaluation Kit is designed to meet the user's needs to evaluate and develop with the RA4C1 MCUs. This kit features multiple clock sources like RA MCU oscillator and sub-clock oscillator crystals. The EK-RA4C1 evaluation kit is ideal for sensor hubs, security, access control systems, battery management systems, e-bikes, system control boards, power, water, and gas meters.

  • Segment LCD board interface
  • MCU current measurement points for precision current consumption measurement
  • Multiple clock sources are the RA MCU oscillator and sub-clock oscillator crystals
  • Three 5V input sources:
    • USB (debug and full speed)
    • External power supply (using surface mount clamp test points and power input bias)
  • Three debug modes:
    • Debug on-board (SWD)
    • Debug in (SWD)
    • Debug out (SWD, SWO, and JTAG)
  • User LEDs and buttons:
    • Three User LEDs (red, blue, and green)
    • Power LED (white) indicating the availability of regulated power
    • Debug LED (yellow) indicating the debug connection
    • Two user buttons
    • One reset button
  • 32Mb (256Mb) quad-SPI flash onboard
  • All I/O pins are available on the headers
  • Multiple interfaces:
    • CAN-FD (3-pin header)
    • Arduino™ (UNO R3) connector
    • Two Digilent Pmod™ (SPI, UART, and I2C) connectors
    • MikroElektronika™ mikroBUS connector
    • Two Seeed Grove® system (I2C/I3C/analog) connectors (not populated)
    • SparkFun Qwiic® connector (not populated)
    • External battery connector
