STMicroelectronics STEVAL-IPM20B 2000W Motor Control Power Board is based on the STIB1060DM2T-L 2nd Series SLLIMM™ (Small Low-Loss Intelligent Molded Module) MOSFET IPM (Intelligent Power Module). The STEVAL-IPM20B provides an affordable, easy-to-use solution for driving high power motors for a wide range of applications such as white goods, air conditioners, compressors, power fans, high-end power tools, and 3-phase inverters for motor drives.
The STEVAL-IPM20B Motor Control Power Board from STMicroelectronics features a compact footprint, minimal BOM, and high efficiency. It includes an interface circuit (BUS and VCC connectors), bootstrap capacitors, snubber capacitors, hardware short-circuit protection, fault event signal, and temperature monitoring. The STEVAL-IPM20B is designed to work in single or three-shunt configurations and has two current sensing options: three dedicated op-amps on the evaluation board or op-amps available on a connected microcontroller. A Hall/Encoder section completes the circuit.
