Texas Instruments DRV8889-Q1EVM Evaluation Module

Texas Instruments DRV8889-Q1EVM Evaluation Module is designed to evaluate the DRV8889-Q1. The DRV8889-Q1 is an integrated, dual H-bridge driver for automotive stepper motor applications.

The Texas Instruments DRV8889-Q1EVM allows the device to be configured for all its functional modes, including micro-stepping down to 1/256 step resolution, multiple decay modes for smart tuning, stall detection, and slip detection. The MSP430F2617 on the board offers the STEP, DIR (direction), and SPI signals to control the DRV8889-Q1. These settings are configured in the downloadable device GUI available for the DRV8889-Q1EVM.
